While summer may feel like a distant memory, there’s no better way to warm up this winter than reminiscing about your favorite summer memories—especially those made out on the water.
This summer, we joined chart-topping country music artist Jake Owen on his ‘Days of Gold’ tour and wanted to know: In addition to touring the country and performing for thousands of fans, what were his favorite summer memories?

Spending time with my family on the beach. “Watching my daughter Pearl’s reaction to the waves crashing and seeing her eyes light up – nothing better than that!”

Fishing trips with the guys. “Ever since I was young, taking the boat out with my Dad for fishing trips has – and will always be – very memorable and special to me.”
Exploring new lakes and boating with fans. “When I’m touring, I love reaching out to fans on social media to see where I can find the best watering holes – I’ve had a few highlights on the water with fans from Arizona to Maine!”
